This weekend a group of friends and I took it upon ourselves to book a camp at our local scout campsite (Walesby) where we could hang our hammocks, cook on open fires and drink extensive amounts of coffee, all the while telling stories and making jokes deep into the night.
Since I am now back in my hometown from my travels up and down the country, it was nice to then relax with good people. It also gave me a chance to slow down my photography and take more casual “snapshots” since I have been shooting film all the way through summer, always on the look-out for the images that will appear around September. Therefore, the following images were taken on my Fuji X-Pro 1 (finally) with the Fujinon 35mm 1.4. Most have an Ektachrome 64 preset applied that I have tweaked to mute the “punchy-ness”. I love the contrast, colours and the slightly faded look at present.
I think we all had a great weekend.
